Ride A Fish Egg List: Confirmed Egg Names and What's Still Unknown

The Ride A Fish egg list confirmed from recorded gameplay: four readable Index egg names, one recorded mutation, and the locations, odds and outcomes that stay unknown.

The Ride A Fish egg list that recorded gameplay can actually confirm has four names: Common Egg (Telur Umum), Coral Egg (Telur Karang), Coral Reef Egg (Telur Terumbu Karang) and Tidal Egg (Telur Tidal). All four appear as readable cards at the start of the egg tab in the in-game Index. This is an explicitly partial list — more rows continue below those four cards, but their labels are too small or partly obscured to read, so nothing has been invented to fill the gap.

Below, you get exactly what each name documents, how the one recorded mutation changes an egg's label, and which details — spawn spots, odds, hatch results — no reviewed footage pins down.

Three notes on reading this table:

  • "Readable card at the start of the egg tab" means exactly that: in the recorded session, the egg tab opens on these four named cards. The rows beneath them are real but unreadable, which is why the table stops at four and why no total egg count is claimed.
  • The table order follows the Index. It is not a rarity ranking and carries no power or value meaning.
  • The Common, Coral and Tidal names also turn up elsewhere in the recorded gameplay, which backs the names themselves; the Coral Reef Egg's confirmation so far rests on its Index card.

Individual egg notes and source context

Each entry supports only a few recorded facts: the displayed name pair (an English name shown together with its Indonesian label), presence among the first cards of the egg tab, and — for Common, Coral and Tidal — recurrence elsewhere in the footage. No fixed spawn location, drop rate, hatch duration or hatch result attaches to any of the four, because none is documented.

The recorded egg cards do carry green luck labels, and fish cards show "1 in" numbers. Both are in-game displays: the footage never defines their sample space, conditions, or how they relate to an actual egg or hatch, so they cannot be reported as drop probabilities. A usable odds table would need a source that defines the denominator and how it was measured. Until then, comparing two eggs by their labels — or reading rarity into the card order — goes beyond what's recorded.

One distinction saves a lot of confusion: an Index card identifies a displayed name — it does not mean you own or are carrying that egg. To verify an egg you actually hold, check the basket's item label and its transport warning. To verify a hatch, watch for the Egg Box's Ready to Hatch state and the fish result card. In short: read the Index for the name, then confirm your own item at the basket, the aquarium or the result card.

A labeling caveat: the English names appear alongside Indonesian labels on screen, and a separately verified official English localization is not established — the pairs above are what the recording shows.

Observed mutations versus base eggs

Rain can leave a mark on an egg you're carrying, and one recorded event shows exactly how that looks. Treat the mutated egg as a separate state of its base egg, not as a new entry:

  1. Base state. The player carries a plain Coral Egg underwater; the basket has no mutation label before the strike.
  2. The event. During Hujan (rain) weather, lightning hits, and a notification explicitly names the affected object: the Coral Egg and RAYS. A flash by itself is not confirmation — the named notification is.
  3. After state. The basket now shows a Rays label while the transport countdown keeps running, and the label displays Mut[RAYS] x1.5. The transport stage the egg was in belongs to the delivery flow.
  4. Outcome in this observation. Time runs out, the game reports the egg returned to its spot, and the basket goes from occupied to empty. The egg was never placed or hatched, so no hatch result exists for the mutated state.

That sequence gives the cataloging rule this page uses: list "Coral Egg (base)" and "Coral Egg with observed Rays label (one rain event)" as separate states. Everything else about the mutation stays open — the chance of a strike, what the x1.5 applies to, whether Rays inherits through hatching, persists after rejoining, or stacks. The event also does not by itself prove the fish being ridden became faster, and it guarantees no Rays fish. The official note that rain may mutate fish is a separate statement and stays separate here. The full event is broken down in the Rays egg mutation guide.

Unknown locations, odds and catalog completeness

  • Locations. No spawn map, coordinates or respawn schedule can be attached to any of the four names. The recorded underwater loop documents only the Take Egg interaction and basket possession — where each egg type appears is not established. The documented search method is covered in how to find eggs.
  • Odds. Nothing here adds up to drop rates: the green luck labels and "1 in" numbers lack a verified denominator, and no measurement method exists in the reviewed material.
  • Completeness. The catalog's total length is unknown. Rows continue below the four readable cards and were omitted rather than guessed. Names circulating in gameplay chatter — golden, fire, amethyst, ice and eternal eggs — do come up in talk, but none appears as a readable Index card in the reviewed footage, so none joins the confirmed list.

Once you can name an egg, the action pages take over: how to hatch eggs covers the Egg Box stages from placing the egg to the result card.
